Welcome to Rainbow Hill Baptist Church.
Someone recently described us as a small church with a big heart and a big vision!
We believe in God, follow Jesus, and take the Bible and prayer seriously in our daily lives.
God has called us not to keep what we have to ourselves, but to reach out into the local community!
On Sundays we meet at 10.30 in the morning for a worship service that usually lasts about an hour and a quarter, which we end with refreshments.
Services are relaxed and fairly informal, and include Communion on the second Sunday of the month.
There is a small group for children during the service, although on the third Sunday of the month we all stay together for a family service.
There is also a weekly home group meeting on most Thursday evenings when we discuss various passages or themes from the Bible and pray together.
A variety of other activities and groups take place in Rainbow Hill Centre during the week.
We are members of the Heart of England Baptist Association and the Baptist Union of Great Britain. We have good relationships with Worcester Baptist Church, Fernhill Heath Baptist Church and St Peters Baptist Church. We are one of the North East Worcester Group of Churches and are part of Jesus in the City.
Our minister is Rev. Kerry J Birch, who is also Community Tutor for Bristol Baptist College and Training Networker with HEBA.
