RAINBOW HILL CENTRE

Friendship

Friendship Group

One of the new activities at Rainbow Hill Centre is a Friendship Group.
This is held fortnightly on a Monday afternoon between 2 and 4pm.

The group is a time for getting together, with the opportunity to make new friends and enjoy refreshments. It may be that members will have ideas for the group, such as crafts or speakers on various topics of interest. Suggestions made already include flower arranging, visits, exercise, tea dances, card making, and so on.

Every other weeks the group programme will incorporate a Reminiscence Group, when members will have opportunity to discuss memories and bring along objects relating to the week’s theme. At the first meeting the group gathered around some interesting objects that Lyn had provided, including old photographs and coins, and a programme from the Queen’s Coronation!

We look forward to welcoming you to the next Friendship Group. The cost is £2 per session, to include tea/coffee and and cakes/biscuits. Come and join this enjoyable time, and if you have things you think will bring back memories feel free to bring them along!

Contact Lyn Morton on 01905 29301 for more details.
